Rumor has it that Mossy Dale has been "kinder sick." He ordered some gin not so long ago, imbibed too freely, went down on the branch, got fright ened and ran into a barb wirE fence. Masor i sold their cotton this week, getting 20 1-3 cents per pound. Mr. E. B. Mason has about 3( acres of land he is generously offering to some man to plan1 food crops on. Winthrop College Scholarship And Entrance Examination. The examination for the award of vacant scholarships in Win throp College and for the ad mission of new students will be held at the County Court House on Friday, July 6 at 9 a. m. Applicants must not be less than sixteen years of age. When scholarships are vacant after July 6 they will be awarded to those making the highest aver age at this examinatiom', provided they meet the conditions govern ing the award.
