The Mutual Marriage Uenevolent Association, of Marine City, is an as sociation organized for tho purpose of assisting its members in their attempt to vtart in life by providing a dower to those of their class (unmarried) who are members upon their marriage. The Association was instituted in April t)f the pre-ent year by a number of prominent citizens of Marine City and Port Huron, and in the month of May secured their charter of incor poration. The association is not as many suppose, an experiment, as thero has hem one the same plan very successfully carried ou in Hamilton, Out., for the past two years, the Ma rine City Association was organized on the same plan, with the exceptlou of it not costing its members so much by dues and assessment as the Cana dian Association.
