Plat of the Town of Merrltt, ac cording to the recorded plat thereof, is now assessed In your name. That on the 11th day of May, A. D. 1914, at a sale of land pursuant to the real estate tax judgment duly given and made in and by the District Court In and for said County of St. Louis, on' the 24th day of March, A. D. 1914, in proceedings to enforce the payment of taxes delinquent upon real estate for •the year A. D. 1912, for said County of St. Louis, the above described piece or parcel of land was duly offered for Bale, and no one bidding upon said offer an amount equal to that for which said piece or parcel was subject to be sold, to-wit: the sum of Forty six cents, the same was duly bid in for the State of Minnesota for said sum. That thereafter, and on the 11th day of August. A. D. 1919, the said piece or parcel of nand. not then having been re deemed from said sale, and having then become the absolute property of the State of Minnesota, was sold and conveyed at public sale by the County Auditor of said County, pursuant to the order and direction of the State Auditor of the State of Minnesota, and in accordance with the provisions of the statute in such case made and pro vided, for the sum of One Dollar and Seven cents, duly paid to the County Treasurer of said County. That the certificate of sale for said piece or parcel of land executed and delivered by said County Auditor upon said sale last above mentioned has been presented to me at my office by the holder thereof, for the purpose of hav ing notice of expiration of time for re demption from said tax sale of said property given and served, and that the amount required to redeem said piece or parcel of land from said tax sale, exclusive of the costs to accrue upon said notice, is the sum of One Dollar and Seven cents, with interest thereon from August 11th, 1919, at the rate of one per cent per month to the day such redemption is made. Default Raving been made the pay ment of the sum of $1,098.67, whicn is due and claimed to be due as principal and Interest at the date of this notice upon a certain mortgage duly executed and delivered by John F. Nelson and power of sale therein contained, duly filed for record in the office of the Registrar of Titles in and for the Countyof St. Louis, State of Minnesota, on November 22nd,. 1M7, at 4 o'clock P. M„ And therein registered as Docu ment numbered 28891 in Volume 88 of Register of Titles on page zll, and said mortgage was then in fact so regis tered and a memorial thereof was then ei t®re,d upon the certificate of title to the land affected by said mort gage, which land, upon the date of such mortgage, was and .now is regis tered under the provisions of chapter sixty-five of the General Statutes of Minnesota for the year 1913. That the power of sale in said mort gage has become operative, and no action or proceeding at law or other wise has been instituted, to recover the debt secured by such mortgage or any part thereof.
