A nEAVT rain on the night of April 80tb, pro
duced a sudden nnd high freshet that damago I

again tho Kohala plantation bridge but recently

unco of tho roads, and damage done, were the only
evidence of there having been unusual rain, Tho

bridge was destroyed onU former occasion, the
