The band uever played better and. the dancing was never more generally enjoyed. Sgt. Ernest Ely was awarded the prize for the best dressed man danc ing, his fancy dress costume consist ing of a full dress suit, skilfully made cf canvas instead of the more usual t roadcloth;. while Mrs; O'Keefe was adjudged the fortunate woman, win ning the much deserved prize of the talr sex. Her costume was a daint ily created dress composed of eai tion of the Star-Bulletin and was both unique and beautifully designed.
