FOR ALL VILLAGES AND
POPULOUS LOCALITIES IN
THE TERRITORY OF HA
WAII OUTSIDE OF THE
. SANITARY DISTRICT OF
HONOLULU.
The following rcfiulntions shall ap
ply to, and bo enforced In all villages
Una populous localities in the Torri
lory of Hawaii outside of the Sani
lary District of Honolulu.
REGARDING BUILDINGS AND
YARDS.
RAIN WATER.

j Sec. (1) Where the space be
tween buildings is less than fifteen
feet the water from the roofs of the
buildings shall be conducted in water

into suitable drains leading onto
street or alley gutters and if any
buildings is so situated that tho
water from the roofs of said building

The word "buildings" in this para
irraph shall be construed to mean

LIGHT AND VENTILATION OF
DWELLINGS,
Sec. (3) Each and every room in

REGARDING PRIVY VAULTS
AND CESSPOOLS.
Sec. (8) No privy vault, sink or
cesspool shall hereafter bo located
or constructed within fifty feet of
any stream, lako, pond, well oi
spring of water, nor within two feet
of the lino of any lot; nor shall it be
''made more than eighteen or less than
six feet dcon, or placed in such a
position that it is not easily acccs
siblc for emptying and cleaning.

preservation of the public health

Sec. (10) No structure or cover
shall be put upon or over any privy-

or cesspool, already constructed
which has become a nuisancfc, or in
any way dangerous to life, or .detri
mental to health, shall bo-removed,
re-constructed, or altered to meet
the requirements of these regulations
and of public health, as' directed by
the Board of Health, or its Agent

SANITARY REGULATIONS FOR
STABLES.
Sec. (1G) The floor of- 'the stalls

asphaltum or broken (coral) rock to
the depth of six inches covered with

Sec. (17) All stalls shall bo con

suitable material, provided such ma
torial shall not be allowed to become

Sec. (19) Liquid discharges from
animals shall be conducted into
drain or ditch to a cesspool or sewer
where practicable and said drain or

apply to hyery, hack, bus, tramcar
truck, express, dairy and all other

REGARDING GARBAGE.
Sec. (22) No garbage, stable ma

Sec. (23) Any person violating
any pf the foregoing regulations
