At n meeting of the Bodrd of Health,
held June 30th, 1905, the following re
solution was regularly adopted and made
a part of the rules and regulations of the
Board of Health of the Territory of Ha
Rksolvkd: That in any district where
a death has occurred, or a patient is found
to be suffering from any malignant, con
tiigious or infectious disease, the Hoard
of Health, or its agents, shall have the
right to summarily proceed to said dis
trict and cause all buildings, within a ra
dius of not more than one mile from the
place said death occured, or said patient
was found, which they shall judge to be
infected, or in an insanitary condition,
and n menace to the public ticalth, to be
thoroughly disinfected by fumigation or
other minus, and all persons residing or
working 111 nny such buildings, and nil
person nl property therein , to be thorougli
ly disinfected, to the sntisfnetion of the
Hoard of Health, or its Agents, before
either' persons or property shnll be re
moved therefrom; and, that thereafter all
such insanitary buildings and property
shall be vacated immediately, and no per
son shall be allowed to live or work
therein, or to store any goods therein, uiv
til the same shall have been placed in a
