Awarded Damages.
The caso of Maria Correa vs L.
M. Baldwin et al, trespass, which
was continued from the Juno term
was heard before Judge Kopoikai
this week. '
This is an old case on tho calo'ndar,
since 1903, in which judgment, was
obtained Against tho husband, and
sheriff's departmont seized somo cat-
tlo anil sold them to settlo the judg
ment. The caso hid been up to the
Supremo Court once on its merits,
and an appeal was made on tho out
come of tho caso before Judge Ke-
poikai. It was brought out that
ouly a portion of tho cattle attached
and sold were the property of the
husband the balance being owned by
Maria Correa, tho wife, who brought
tho suit. Judge Kopoikai awarded
her damaged to the amount of $90.00
J, M. Vivas was the attorney for
the plaintiff and J. L. Coke for dependent.
