the fixed red light at this station

post-lantern to a lens-lantern light

ed to mark the portion of this sub
merged wreck in the western inne
berth.
The lantern is shown from a float
ing tripod over the wreck, which is
in 29 feet of water, and hangs about
5 feet above tho surface of tho water,
A red flag is shown abovo the tripod
Tho light will be discontinued when
tho menace is removed.

Strike at Moscow Continues To
Spread.
MOSCOW, October ll.-The strike
of tho factory workers continues
spread. The work shops of tho Brest
Railway are now involved, the strik
ers having compelled a number of the
employes to leavo work.
Tho police toj-night dispersed
crowd on the Prechitensky boulevard
but otherwise tho night passed quiet
ly. The strike is affecting factories
in tho Government of Moscow outside
tho city. Tho mauagers of tho news
papers have decided to conccdo the
demands of tho compositors.
