The Board of Supervisor for tho
county of Maui met on Tuesday of
this week at tho Supervisors Rooms
for tho usual business of tho mouth.
Present wero chairman Henninn and
T. M. Church and J. Ilalualani. W. II.
Cornwoll being ill in Honolulu was
not present and T. T. Meyers did not
arrive until Wednesday boat. Chair-
man Helming called the meeting to
ordors. and after the reading of tho
minutes or the last meeting. Com
mantion from tho Wailuku Sugar Co,
nsking for tho use of the rock crusher
was read and placed on file. Tho
company offer to put tho crusher iu
good repair and furnish tho road
supervisor with all small rock free
to bej used for road dressing. As
this is tho cheapest rock dressing
that can bo had the plan is a most
favorably one for the tax payers and
is now being done subject to return
of tho rock crusher on demand of
the supervisors.

Bamister is police officer for Pukoo
was passed.
A resolution transferring police
officer A. K. Laumauna from Waia
lua to Halawa and W. K. Kaai from
Pukoo to Wainlua was adopted.
A resolution fixing the salary
