THE MAUI NEWS
The Ladies Guild of the Church of
the Good Shepherd gave an excellent
chicken luncheon last Saturday which
was well attended and proved a very
pleasant affair. A number of ladies
from Puunene, Kahului and Wailuku
were present. The gentlemen who
attended were principally from Wai
"Laugh and grow fat." Come and
tee the Wailuku Minsttels tonight at
the Knights of Pythias Hall. Re
served seats, 75 cents on sale at the
Maui News office.
Rev. Ft. Dodge is making im
provements on the Alexander pro
perty recently purchased from E. II.
The work on the concrete side
walks of town its progressing slowly
on account of; the lack of material.
When the new crushing plant is in
stalled woik of this nature may pro
gress more rapidly.
Duting the months of July and Au
gust the Rev. Mr. Hall will have
charge of the work at the Church of
the Good Shepherd, Canon Ault being
at the Cathedral in Honolulu during
that time. Mr. Hall was one of Dis
hop Restarlck's 'boys' in San Diego.
