Treasurer Campbell has received
the reports of the Tax Assessors of
the various taxation districts, with
the exception of Hawaii, showing
the amounts collected during the six
months ending June 30 of this year.
The taxes collected on Oahu amount
,t. practically half a million, while
Maui shows a total of over $143,000
and Kauai $110,000.
The following is a detailed state
ment for Maul, Molokai and Lanai

Order to show cause on Guardian's
application to sell real estate.
On reading and filling the Petition
of C. B. Wells, the Guardian of
Amorette Cummings, Hannah Cum
mings, Rose Cummings, Thomas Cum
mings, William Cummings, Parker
Cummings, Wells Cummings, Ogg
Cummings, minors, Draying for an
order of sale of certain real estate
belonging to said minors, t-wit:
"All that certain lot of land situate
at Koloa Wailuku, Island of Maui,
and more particularly described as
follows: Begin on the North Angle
of this lot at an iron pin just S. 19 E.
50.7 feet from a cross cut in line of
makai church cement wall and run
ning S. 87 deg. I W. 145 feet along
fence of road leading to the manager's
house to iron pin. S. 14 deg. E. 150
feet along Wailuku Sugar Co. N. 87
deg i E. 145 feet along by south side
of ditch to government road to a pin
just 4 feet from Ohai tree. N. 14
deg. W. 150 feet along Waikapu
government road to the initial point.
Containing 50-100 acre and setting
forth certain legal reasons why such
real estate should be sold, to-wit:
"That the proceeds of said sale
may be applied, in part, to the pur
chase of a less expensive building lot
in or near the Town of Wailuku, and,
in part, towards the construction of
a residence upon said lot; said lot
and residence so purchased and con
structed to he used by Amorette
Cummings, widow, and the children
of said Cummings, deceased, includ
ing the minors hereinabove mention
ed, as a home, more especially for
and during Ihe minority of said child
ren; and thus the better enable the
mother of said minors, and the elder
brother and sisters thereof, to rear,
support, care for, and educate said
minors. -
It is hereby ordered, that the
heirs and next of kin of said minors
and all persons interested in the said
estate, appear, before this Court on
Monday, the ziMh day of August, A.
D. 1906, at 10 o'clock A. M. at the
Court Room of this Court, ia Wailu
ku, then and there to show cause
why an order should not be granted
or the sale of such estate.
And it is further ordered, that a
notice of this order be published at
least three successive weeks before
the said day of hearing, in the "Maui
ews, a newspaper published in
Wailuku, the last publication to be
not less than ten days previous to
the time therein appointed for said
hearing.

at Kamaole, Kula, Maui, described
in R. P. 161, L. C. A. 6419 to Kana
kaloa and conveyed to S. Ahmi by J.
Burns and wife by deed dated Feb. 8,
1895, and recorded in Liber 152, folio
320, as aforesaid.
4. All the right, title and interest
of said S. Ahmi in and to an undivided
interest in 61 5-10 acres of land at
Kamaole, Kula, Maul, described in
R. P. 2483 to Ainou, said interest
having been conveyed to S. Ahmi by
Waiu (w) and husband by deed dated
Nov., 1895, arid recorded in Liber
158, folio 166, as aforesaid.
5. All the right, title and interest
of said S. Ahmi in and to a piece of
land situate at Wailuku, Maui, con
taining an area of 6.60 Chains and
described in R. P. 5322 L. C. A. to
Kapahl and conveyed to S. Ahmi by
Holokahlkl by deed dated Mar. 10,
1897, and recorded in Liber 177, folio
5, as aforesaid.
6. All the right, title and interest
of said S. Ahmi in and to an undivided
forty-fifth (145) interest or share in
the "Ilikiau Land," Kaupakulua,
Hamakua, Maui, containing an area
of 1036 acres and described in R. P.
771, said interest having been con
veved to S. Ahmi by T. Akanaliilii
and wife by deed dated June 20, 1889,
and recorded in Liber 118, . folio 119.
as aforesaid.
7 All the right, title and interest
of said S. Ahmi in and to Lease of 5
acres of land at Kamaole, Kula,
Maui, portion of L. C. A. 6657, given
by Kaiewe to S. Ahmi dated Feb. 9,
1899, and recorded in Liber 185, folio
352, as aforesaid for ten (10) years
from Jan. 1, 1899, at $15.00 per an
num rental.
8. All the right, title and interest
of said S. Ahmi in and to Lease of 3
acres of land at Kamaole, Kula.
Maui, portion of L. C. A. 6657 to
Maboe, given by Nahielua to S. Ahmi
dated Jan. 1, 1899, and- recorded in
Liber 197, folio 463 as aforesaid, for
ten (10) years from July 1, 1899 at
$10.00 per annum rental.
9. All the right, title and interest
of said S. Ahmi in and to a piece of
land situate at Kamakaole, Kula,
Maui, coutaining an area of 6 acres.

10. All the right, title and interest
of said S. Ahmi in and to one Bull, 85
Head of Cattle, 20 Horses, 5 Mules,

to satisfy said Writ of Execution
selling first the personal property
aforesaid and then the said real pro
perty as necessary.

day of July, A. D. 1906, levy upon
and shall offer for sale and sell at
public auction, to the highest bidder,
at the residence of S. Ahmi, at Ka
maole, Kula, in the District of Maka
wao.Island of Maui, Territory of Ha-
waii, at 12 o'clock noon of Saturday,
the 11th day of August, A. D. 1906,
all the right, title and interest of i the
