CON- Last week we published the minutes of the meeting of the ,Board of 'County Supervisors for the first day of the session. As the Board was still in session at the time wo went to press we were unable to give the report in full and now give below the minutes not published in the last issue.l MORNING SESSION. Thursday, July 11, 1007. The Chair called the meeting to order at 0:30 A. M. Roll Call- Present: Wm. Hen ning. Chairman, T. M. Church, S. E. Kaiuo, W. P. Ilaia, and T. T. Meyer. The Chair announced that Mr. Coclho had something to say to the Board. Mr. Coolho, Chief of the Wailuku-Kahului Fire, Com pany, verbally requested an appro priation of $300.00 for the use of the Fire Company. The minutes of the meeting of July 10 woro read and ordered ap proved. Communications were again taken up. Communication "of vV J. Coolho, Chief of Wailuku-Kahului Fire Company in re Fire Company was road and ordered placed on filo. Communication of Jos. Nunes Secretary Wailuku-Kahului Fire Company in re Toilet in the Fire Station,' was read and ordered placed on file. Action on tho rules and regula tions of the Wailuku-Kahului Fire Compay was deferred. Claim demands were again taken up for examination. At 11 A. M. a delegation of the Wailuku citizens headed by Mr. Wells presented a verbal request that our roads in this district be improved. At 11:45 A. Mr. Kaiuo presented Resolution No. 25S thereby appropriating the Sinn of Five Hundred Sixty-one and 80-10d Dollars to tho Fund known as "NEW IAO ROAD, and move tho adoption ,of the same, Seconded by Mr. Church and car ried. Mr. Kaiuo presented Resolution No. 250 thereby appropriating the sum of Seven Hundred Svcnty five and 13-100 Dollars to the fund known as Roads and Bridges, Wailuku. Ilenning called the meeting to order at 0 A. M. The minutes of tho mooting of July 11 were read and ordered approved as read. I After the approval of the min utes the Board went on a tour of Inspection of road work. At 4 P. M. the Board came to order again Chairman V. llcnnin;: presiding. Mr. Case, County Attomoy pre sented a request for a typewriter. He was allowed to purchose one Reports were again taken up. Report of the County Attorney was taken. The Board considering that there were not enough grounds to prefer charges against Deputy Sheriff Lako, he was called beforo the Board and advised to be more circumspect in his conduct in the future. He promised to be more discreet in tho future and express cd regret for his conduct on tho Fourth. Tho clerk was instructed to noti fy all road overseers that the pay rolls must be completely made out beforo being offered to the working men for signatures. Communications.
