registering persons of Chineese blood

his associates registered thirty-eight such
persons in Lahania and one hundred and

Friday where he will register the people
there entitled to be registered.

Local Japanese young men are getting
interrested in baseball. Last .Sunday
afternoon at Wells Park Nygame was

Offices, Maui County.
The attention of the nominees to Coun
ty offices of Maui County is hereby called
to the provisions of Section 33, Chapter
10, Act 39, Session Laws of 1905, (COUN
TY ACT) which provides as follows:
"Nominations shall be deposited with
the County Clerk 110 less than twenty (20)
days prior to election; each nomination
shall lie accompanied by a deposit of
Twenty-five (25) Dollars on account of
expenses of election, which shall be paid
to the Countv Treasurer."
All nominations for County offices, ac
companied by cash to the amount of
twenty-five dollars, should be deposited
with the County Clerk of Maui County,
at his office in Wailuku, Maui, on or be
fore Wednesday, October 14, 190S, and
not later than 4:00 o'clock 1". M.
Nominees desirous of having their
names appear on ballots in Hawaiian as

notice thereof to the County Clerk on or
