1 THE FORD tenTS? I
i of class. A car for the man of mo
derate means; a car that will do all
and more than the manufacturers
claim for it. A salesman never has
totalk about the good qualities of a
FOTfcD, they are always apparent.
The 1911 FORD is a great improve-
ment over the 1910 Car. They have
all that any other car has, and then
some. Then the price should be an
inducement. When you can buy a
car which you know is good, by its
record, for $800, why pay more?
You can not possibly get any more
value. See the latest model and be

KEEP AN EYE
ON YOUR CLOCK
Advice to the Woman Who
Never Knows the Time.
ONE of the cans as of failure
which no one recognizee, as
a rule, is the lack of "time
This Is a fault more common among
women than among men.
Women carry watches. It ia true, bnt
more from a desire for ornamentation
than a desire to know the time. Aa a
rule, their watches and clock a remain
unwound for Indefinite period.' ' Ask
any woman the time, and generally
she will hesitate or make a wild gueffl.
Most men know the time, whether
they carry watches or not They In
stinctively notice when they pass s
Women waste more time than men
owing to this habit of not living by
time. They ore more apt, especially
when away from home, to go by
guesswork nnd not to allot certain
hours for certain things.
Keeping an appointment with the
average woman Is apt to be a mova
ble feast She goes along doing some
thing here, dawdling there, until she
wakes up to find she will be ten or
fifteen minutes or even half an hour
late In meeting her friend.
She does not use any "time Judg
ment" If she has half an hour to
spare shs starts 'work which requires
a full hour to accomplish, work some
times which she cannot break off, but
must finish and which consequently
makes her late for something else.
She Is extravagant with her time,
despising ten minutes between two
engagements as being of no earthly
use because it Is too small a period in
which to accomplish anything. But
this Is a great mistake. It is the ten
minutes carefully employed that make
the big showing In the end.
The . woman who does npt keep a
record of her odds and ends of time,
who does not know how to fit her
needs to them. Is far away from ulti
mate success. Odd minutes are like
pennies, and pennies wisely employed
mean a fortune.
Every woman who wishes success,
who wishes to accomplish much In
life, should learn clock science and
keep her watch wound up.
Walk For Your Health.
This Is the time of the year to take
up pedestrlanlsm. The walking ex
cursion Is becoming more popular ev
ery year,- and the woman who com
plains of too much flesh may combine
reduction with pleasure in this way.
