Charges of Sedition.
LOS ANGELES, May 18. Emma Goldman and her manager

Lodge Bill Favored.
WASHINGTON, May 18. The Senate favors the bill introduced

HONOLULU, May 21. On Motion the reading of the Copelaud
course of study was deferred. A committee of 15 was appointed to
consider the fope course. While nothing has been done, there is evl
dence of a bitter fight ahead.
The Mauna Kea will begin a twice a week service between Hono
lulu and Ililo on June 7.
A movement was started last night to consider the plans promoted
by II. Gooding Field to build a big hotel at the crater with hotels in
Honolulu, and a steamer line to the coast. Thurston says it is the
biggest thing ever thought of for the islands.
