There is great rejoicing here over the news that the Washington government has appropriated $100,000 for the expenses of carrying refugees to any part of the country they may select. MINNEAPOLIS, Aug 3. -Prof. David Starr Jordan said in a public address here that our navy is already four times ns big a it should be. WASHINGTON, Aug. 3 Word has reached here that the U. Before Roosevelt left for the third party convention today he said: "The party must accept doctrines for which stand if 1 am to be a candidate at all, and I shall want the hnal word regarding the platform."
