ber 2, 191 2, at the front door to the Court
House, Makawao, Maui, there will be
sold at public auction under Part V, of
the Land Act of 1895, Sections 278-285
inclusive, Revised Laws of Hawaii, a
general lease of the following lots graz
ing land situate in the Waiohuli-Keokea
Tract, Kula, Maui:
Lots 2, 3, 4, 5,6, 8, 11, 12, 13. 15, 17,
18, 21, 25 and 26, comprising an area of
422.0 acres, more or less.

The twenty-five electors who
sign nomination papers must be
chosen from electors qualified to
vote at this, not the last, election.
Candidates for Senators or Repre
sentatives should therefore verify
the names of the electors who sign
their nomination papers by ascer
taining from the County Clerks of
the several counties whether ar
least twenty-five of 'such names
have been duly registered on the
Great Register as electors duly
qualified to vote in the candidates,
Senatorial or Representative Dis
trict, as the case may be, at the
election to be held in November 5,
1912. The names of duly regis
tered electors signing nomination
papers for Delegates may be taken
from the Territory at large.

Notice is hereby given that, as guard
ian of the person and property of Heze
kiah Manase, and under and by virtue
of an order granted by the Honorable
Selden B. Kingsbury, Judge of the Cir
cuit Court of the Second Judicial Circuit,
Territory of Hawaii, licensing me to sell
certain property belonging to said ward,
I shall, on Saturday, the 2d day of Nov
ember, 1912, at twelve o'clock noon, at
the front entrance to the Courthouse in
Wailuku, County of Maui, sell, at public
auction, the following described pro
perty:
(1)" All of that certain piece and par
cel of land (being taro land and house
lot) situate in Kapaaloa, Wailuku, Island
and County of Maui, Territory of Hawaii,
more particularly described in and cov
ered by Deed from Kamehanieha V. to
W. P. Kahale of date September 12,
1857, and of record in the Office of the
Registrar of Conveyance in Honolulu, in
Liber 9, Pages 536-7, containing five
acres more or less.
(2) Those two pieces of land situate
in Kapaaloa, Wailuku, Island and County
of Maui, Territory of Hawaii, being
Apana 5 containing two-fifths of an acre,
and Apana 6, containing one acre, being
portions of land described in and covered
by Royal Patent 7433 Land Commission
Award 774a, to W. P. Kahale, and
(3) That certain piece and parcel of
land situate in Paukukalo, Wailuku,
Island and County of Maui, Territory of
Hawaii, being portion of Royal Patent
7433i Land Commission Award 7742, to
Kahale, containing one and three-fifths
acres, and being the same piece of land
leased by W. O. Smith as executor of
the Estate of W. P. Kahale to Ah Foo,
on May 9, 1898.
(4) All of the right, title and interest
of said Hezeklah Manase in and to the
land covered by and described in Royal
Patent 6268, Land Commission Award
3389, to Pinao, situate in Kapaaloa, Wai
luku, island and County of Maui, Terri
tory of Hawaii.

Commission, at Wailuku, Maui,
T. II., until 9:00 o'clock A. M.
Saturday, October 12th, 1912, and
then opened, for the construction,
according to plans and specifica
tions, of four reinforced concrete
bridges in the Lahaina District, on
the Maui Belt Road system.
Plans and specifications and

Superintendent of Public Works at
Honolulu, T. H.
The right is reserved to reject
any and all bids.
