that certain mortgage dated the
22nd day of December, A. D. 1910,
from SAM KAMAKAU, of Maka
wao, County of Maui, Territory of
Hawaii, to NINA II HAYES, of
said Makawao, of record in the
Registry Office in Honolulu, in
Liber oSl , on pages 174 and 175,
the owner and holder thereof in
tends to foreclose the same and
sell the mortgaged property there
in named, because of non-payment
of principal and interest due 011
the promissory note secured there
by. The above mentioned 11101 1
gage was given lo secure the pay
ment of a promissory note for two
hundred and sixty dollars of even
date therewith, payable two years
after date bearing interest at the
rale of ten per cent annum, exe
cuted by the said Sam Kamakati to
Nina H. Hayes.
Notice is likewise given that,
after the expiration of three weeks
from dale of first publication of
this notice to wit, on Saturday,
April IS, 1914, at 12 o'clock noon
of said day, the said mortgaged
property, for the reasons above
slated, will be sold at public auc
tion at the front entrance to the
First National Bank of 1'aia, build
ing on the Makawao-l'aia road, in
the tov. 'i of Pais., district 01 Maka
wao, County of Maui, T. II.
