did they not spend that money on

not let out the Sanitary Inspectors,
and turn that money over to the
Haiku, and Kuiaha road:?, and let
the Policemen do the inspecting?
Why don't the Supervisors tend
to their own duties, and let the dis
trict overseers attend to tlrO road
work. What they are paid for,
and not butt in to something they
know nothing about? The Super
visors were eleeted to sec thatevery-
thing was run properly, and not
butt in, what is the consequence,
nothing done, no money to do any
thing with, thousands of yards, of
gravel at Maliko, wailing to be put
on the Haiku roads, machinery
rusting at l'auwela, no money, but
money for an election for the bene
fit of 5 or li men, roads all going to
the deuce. Well may the people of
Muni, from north to south, and
from east to west, cry out, 'oh for a
I'oguc to lead us once more.'
