ore, lrom the Salvador nunc, has been
hipped to the Aztlau mill for treatment.
The Salador mine contains a large amount
of rich gold ore, and the prospects are that
the owners ot the nunc will soon make ar
rangements to put a mill convenient to their

from Lynx Creek, have been in town during
the past few days, making purchases t the
different stop's and have dropped consider
able gold du-t with our merchants. .Money

not so very bail after all. l'rescott does
twice the business of any two towns in the
Col. James M. Harney, the untiring man
ager of the Silver King mine, in Pinal coun
ty, is now shipping ten tons of ore from the
Kingeery alternate day, which pays away
up into the thousands. If any money can
be made in mining, we are satisfied that the
Colonel will be the one to make it. He goes
at mining as he doci everything else, in a
Mr. Gilson, one of the old pioneers, is ac
tively engaged in farming, stook raising, etc..
at his ranch in the valley of Date Creek.
Mr. Atkinson has a good station at the
divide on the Iron Spring toll road. It is a
good place to "put up" and get all you "cull
T. M. Alexander recently purchased from
Jesus Mongilla, ten head of fine picked

anywhere. George lives at Arizona City,
right opirosite Fort Yuma. He deserves
well of the whole people of this Territory.

ent butchers that shep, this spring,
are exceedingly fat, in fact the meat is so
perforated with tallow that it is not relished
by lovers of mutton. Quite a contrast be
tween sheep in California and those of our Ter
ritory. Another Discovery. John G, Campbell
fc Co., arc the owners of a silver bearing
mine recently discovered by n Mexican in
Peck mlning district, which is represented
to avcrairo 15 feet in width, and the rock
from which assays $1,517 80. The lucky lo-

Salt Hivkii. Major C. H. Veil, who is as
well posted as anybody, says there are five
