Official Call For the Republican Territorial Convention to
Be Held April 15, 1912.
To the Republican Electors of the Territory of Hawaii:
In accordance with a resolution adopted by the Republican Terri
torial Central Committee at a meeting held on the 5th. day of February
1912, said resolution being in conformity with the provisions of the
Official Call for the Republican National Convention and with the
Rules of the Republican Party of Hawaii; the Republican Precinct
Clubs throughout this Territory are hereby directed to meet on Friday,
the 29th day of march, 1912, between the hours of 7:30 r. m. and 8
p. m., for the purpose of nominating candidates for delegates to a Ter

several precincts on Saturday, April 6th, 1912, between the hours of

The delegates so chosen are called to assemble in a Territorial
Convention in Honolulu on Monday, the 15th day of April, 1912, at
10 A. m. for the purpose of electing six delegates and six alternate
delegates to the Republican National Convention to be held in Chicago
on the 18th. day of June, 1912.

All persons who became citizens of the United States of America
and of the Territory of Hawaii nei by reason of having received
naturalization papers will please produce said naturalization papers
upon applying for registration as voters as aforesaid, or their applica
tions will be refused.
All who wish may be registered as voters at the Office of the
County Clerk of the County of Kauai, in Lihue, on any legal dtw
during business hours. y
The General County Register will be open at all times until mid
night immediately preceding the third Wednesday, (to-wit: October
16th.) 1912, before the next General Election which will be held on
Tuesday, November 5th., 1912.
Due notice of any changes in the above schedule, if any, will be
GIVEN under my hand and seal of the County of Kauai, Terri
tory of Hawaii, at Lihue, Kauai, this 9th, day of March, a. d. 1912.

NOTICE TO VETERINARIANS
In accorduncc with Act 71 of the Ses
sion Laws of 1011, entitled "An Act to
Regulate the Practice of Veterinary Med
icine, Surgery and Dentistry in the Ter
ritory of Hawaii," notice is hereby given
that all persons practising or intending
to practice veterinary medicine, surgery
or dentistry in the Territory of Hawaii,
shall make application to the Treasurer
of the Territory for a license to so prac
tice. Such application must be accompanied
by the sum of Ten Dollars (10.00), (P.
O. Money Order in favor of the Treas
urer), upon receipt of which further in
structions will be mailed to the appli

Sealed tenders will be received
by the Kauai Loan Fund Com
mission up to 12 m. of Wednesday,
March '20, 1912, for constructing
the Hanapepe School.
All tenders to be addressed to
Mr. H. D. Wishard, Vice-Chairman
of the Kauai Loan Fund Commis
sion, Lihue, Kauai, at whose office
copies of plans, specifications and
proposal blanks may be obtained.
