Money won't turn a man's head
half as quickly as a silken calf.
When the police want a man for
anything all they have to do is to
locate the woman.
When a woman wants material
for a lecture she doesn't have to
go to the North Pole. She ex
plores her husband's pockets.
When a salaried man starts in
to hold up his end with men who
are worth money, von can see his

Nowadays the game law pro

A woman is always afraid of
train wrecks. That is why she
always wears her best underwear
when she travels.
The more you think about it,
the more you wonder what Solomon
did when about a hundred of his
wives wanted their backs scratched
at the same time.
If a woman would work half as
hard trying to hold a husband as
she did to land him, he would
never leave her.

There may be an excuse for dis

As long as a girl's complexion
isn't ghastly she can be proud of
how she never has to do anything
If a man had all the money in
the world it wouldn't be enough
to support his poor relations the
way they deserved.
Common sense never peters out;
genius always does.
Millionaires act as if everybody
else liked to be kicked in the face.
Even if a fine opportunity does
come along it has a big price tag
It makes a man proud to be able
to keep his temper with everybody
but his wife.
What comforts a woman about
being too big to fit the bathtub
is when she was a girl she could
almost saueeze through a knot
The quickest way to find out

What makes a girl cross is to
find a chance to be cheertul over
helping her mother.
Married men cet into debt be

A man can be more of a philoso

The reason going to church does
a woman good is she got so angry
because her husband wouldn't go,
Every time a man puts a quarter
into the collection plate he feels as
if he were throwing a good cigar
into the street.
When a girl is hard put to it she
can act as it a circular asking her
to make a cake for the church fair
was a love letter.
What makes a woman so caatious
about taking little risks is she was
