The petitions for appointment
as roaaluna for Kawaihau from
Mr. H. M. Castro (V 791): James
Kahilikolo Hano (P 793): and Mr.
Charles Titcomb (P 796)), were
duly received and upon the nomi
nation of Mr. Kkekela with a
statement that the county road
supervisor strongly recommended
for the reappointment of Mr. H.
M. Castro to the office, Mr. II. M.
Castro was duly reappointed as
loadlttna for Kawaihau.
A petition (P 797) for the ap
pointment of Mr. Hiel Kapu as
Roadluna for Hanalci was duly
received and upon the nomination
of Mr. Menefoglio, duly seconded,
Mr. Hiel Kapu was duly appointed
to the office.

construction of a bridge or a con
crete culvert at Wainuiohtii, Hu-
leia, and for the macadamizing of
that road from the Huleia Store at
Kipu, Lihue, to the main public

Wm. Hyde Rice, and upon motion
of Mr. Menefoglio seconded bv

Mr. J. H. Moragne, County Road
Supervisor, for investigation and
Mr. Wm. Hyde Rice as Com
missioner of the Board o f Public
Instruction made a verbal request
for the appointment of permanent
janitors for the public schools at
Kapaa, Lihue, Hanapepe, and at
Waimea, and for some one to clean
the schools at least once a week,
at Kilauea, Hananiaulu, Koloa,
Kalaheo, Makaweli, and Kekaha.
