for the Kauai corps of the Salvation Army for the ensuing year:

A new rule has been made by
the Adjutant-General in regard to
the officers ot the National Guard
who travel. Hereafter an officer
of the Fourth Infantry, for in-
'stance, who wishes to leave Kauai
for less than two weeks must have
verbal permission of the regiment
al commander; and if for more
than two weeks there must be a
regular regimental order to that
effect. Upon arrival at Honolulu
all officers fiom the outside islands
are required to report to and regis
ter at department headquarters.

tailor at Schofield Barracks, Oahu, at
which place he gave great satisfaction.
