Help the Red Cross
Till: OAlM)i:X ISLAND. TI'KS MAY, MAY 7. VMS.
Any man who isn't willing to make sacrifices at this
time who isn't willing to back our Government and
our soldiers to the lull extent of his ability who isn't
glad to put down his money to further the humani
tarian cause of the Red Cross to send his purse on the
errand of mercy to suffering wounded Americans and
their shoulder-to-shoulder Allies such a man confesses
himself as unworthy of living on the soil of Hawaii.
He should be living in those hell-blamed diftrids of
Northern France, and Belgium, where German
"kultur" finds its full expression. He should be living
in those districts where, on the writhing, naked bodies
young and old alike, German "kultur" is infli&ing
the moft foul and diabolical tortures ever known in
the history of the world.
