Section III. All fenced nml anthrax-Infested
pastures, enclosures or
premises remain quarantined In so far
as tho admission to them of unvac
cinatcd animals Is concerned, and such
pastures, enclosures or premises must
bo kept so- fenced as to prevent ab
solutely entrance of stray live-stock
from njolnlng highways and districts.
Section IV. All gates opening on
public roads or non-infected premises,
shall bo securely fastened and bo pro
vided with a sign forbidding tho ad
mission of unvaccinated live-stock to
anthrax infected districts, and stat
ing tho penalty for tho Violation' of
the rules and regulations governing
tho same. "
Section V. Tho Kalilii-kal and Kal-ihl-wal
districts, and tho public high
way loading from tho latter to Hana
lel bridge shall bo considered free
from anthrax infection and no longer
quarantined after tho date theso re
gulations become effective; but tho
local representative of this Hoard
shall reestablish such quarantine, in
full or in part, whonovcr in ills opin
ion It becomes advisable.
Section VI. The removal of tho
vaccinated live stock in tho quarant
ined district shall bo in direct charge
of tho local representative of this
Hoard, who shall in each ease decide
upon and superintend tho application
of such precautionary measures as ho
may deem requisite . to prevent tho
spread of infection.
Section VII. It shall bo tho duty of
any person to report without delay to
tho local representative of this Hoard
tho sickness or death of any animal
in or near tho infected district, as
well as the presenco of any unvac
cinated livo stock in the quarantined
Section VIII. It shall bo unlawful
for anyone, directly or indirectly, to
transfer pq carry from any pasture,
cnclosuro or promises, where an
animal ha3 died from nnthrax, or
whore deaths of animals have occur
red which might be attributed to an
thrax,- any soli, sod, earth, grasses,
grass seed, grass roots or any other
substance which might possibly carry
tho infection of anthrax.
Section IX. Theso rules shall go
into effect on August 2Cth, 1018.
