The three days meeting of the Kauai
fivangelieal Associat;on came to a
close Sunday afternoon, and was pro
nounced by those In attendance, to be
one of the most profitable meetings
hel.l in the history of the association.
Friday and Saturday were devoted
to the routine business of the church,
ogether with inspirational addresses
by Rev. Carver, Judd, Scudder and
Bayless, and others. Such subjects as
the following were discussed, to tho
advantage of all present: "What it
takes to make an Ideal Missionary,"
"The needs of the church," "The
Model Sunday School and its various
departments," "What the Christian
Endeavor OUGHT to be."
The Hanalei Hawaiian Church plac
ed a call before the association for the
service of Rev. David Kaacamoku, of
Maui. This pastoral relationship will
be consummated in the near future. It
was reported that the Kapaa Hawaiian
Church is being repaired to tho extent
of $2,000. A new manse is to be con-
