Some FACTS About
Goodyear Tubes
Also Save Tires
T Tnder-inflation destroys more tires
than all other causes combined.
When we remove that one source of
expense from your tire problem, we
have performed a service you will
appreciate.
It's really quite easy, too.
We supply tubes that actually hold
air.
The Goodyear Heavy
Tourist Tube, with its
extra thickness, purity
of rubber, laminated
construction and built-in
value patch, prevents
under -inflation.
In the old days of piracy, n
Spaniard could get rich on a gel-
Icon, but nowadays a bootlegger
docs it on a quart.
Mr. Joe Stasch and wife were
divorced last week. Mrs. Stasch
gets the use of the car six days
oijt of every month; and the Coun
ty gets the children.
Mr. Branson of (he Ford Motor
Company gave us a tip on how to
make your brake bands wear bet
ter. Never put the brake on
while you have the gear pedal in
neutral, that is, if you are coast
ing down a hill and want to apply
the brake, let the gear pedal into
high before pushing down the
brake pedal.
We learned recently that there
is a large watermelon crop being
grown at Kekaha, and we wonder
ed why the sudden interest in
farming until we read in the
"Scientific American" that if you
plug a watermelon just before it
is ripe, pour in a little yeast and
then ' close it up again, that the
yeast will cause a sugar in the
melon to develop an alcoholic kick
of about 10. No wonder the
watermelon crop at Kekaha is the
largest in years.
TKE UNIVERSAL CAR
Here are the authentic figures from the Ford factory at
Detroit. They show you just how many Ford cars and trucks
have been built each month since January 1, 1021 and how
many have been sold to retail customers, in the United States.
Delivered to
Produced Itctail Customers
JANUARY 29,883 57,208
FEBRUARY :i5,:J05 015,0015
MARCH 01,880 87,221
Total Production 127,074 Total Retail Sales 208,032
i
showing that actual sales for the first three months of 1921 ex
ceeded production by S0,958 Ford cars and trucks !
. April requisitions already specify 107,719 additional cars
and trucks and the estimated April output of the factory and
assembly plants combined calls for only 90,000 !
These facts clearly show that the demand for Ford prod
ucts is growing much faster than manufacturing facilities to
produce and were it not for the dealers' limited stocks, which
are now being rapidly depleted, many more customers would
Jriive been compelled to wait for their cars. It will be only a
matter of weeks, therefore, until a big surplus of orders will
prevent anything like prompt deliveries.
If you would be sure of having your Ford car or truck
when you want it, you should place your order now. Don't
delay. Phone us or drop us a card.
