NEW HYDROGRAPHIC
STATIONS FOR KAUAI
Four new recording stations to re
place staff gauge stations will bo er
ected shortly on the island of Kauai
by the United States hydrographlc
service. While on Kauai last month
District Engineer Stewart also select
ed sites for the relocation of two re
cording stations already at work. A
staff gauge station is one at which
readings are taken by an observer
once or twice daily. A recording
station furnishes an automatic record
of the flow for every minute of the
day. The changes determined upon
will cost tho government about $2000,
engineering expenses included.

Antono Nobrlga, Jr., as Administrator
of the Estate of Joseph Freitas
Calistro, deceased, late of Hana-
maulu, County of Kauai, Territory of

vided that an election of County Offi
cers shall be held and tako place on
the first Tuesday after the first Mon
day in the mouth of June, 1921, in
Uio County of Kauai, Territory of
Hawaii, and tho officers then elected,
and, or, elected at tho Primary pre
cecdlng the said General Election
shall take office on tho first day of
July following said General Election
and shall hold office until their suc
cessors are elected and qualified:

vided by law that a Proclamation for
a County General Election shall be
issued by the Board of Supervisors at
least thirty days before a General E1-'

of Supervisors of tho County of Kauai
hereby give notice and proclaim that
a General County Election will bo
held In the said County of Kauai for
tho election of County Officers as

ty of Kauai on TUESDAY, Juno 7th,
1921, between the hours of eight
o'clock a. m. and fivo o'clock p. m.
of the said day, namely:

ative District, being the County of
Kauai, shall constitute tho precincts
and polling places for the election of
County Officers.
At such time and places aforesaid,

upon all duly qualified voters of said

and as required by law.
