up for a couple of days last week with

spending his vacation with Nell Moler
of Llhue. The boys are class mates

spent the week end and Monday In

ment exercises at tho University of
Hawaii.

attended the commencement exer
cises of the University of Hawaii held

Droadbent, their son, has completed

automobile ordinanco rocontly passed
by the legislature, aro in tho hands
of tho printer and will bo ready within
a few days.
Every licensed driver of a motor
vehicle in Kauai county will have to
surrendor his (or her) old permit and
receive a now one in exchange.
Honry Akl, examiner of chauffeurs
states that this must bo done within
six months, otherwise tho holder will
have to pay $5 for a now permit.

Change of June Schedule

The S. S. "CLAUD INK" will sail from Honolulu June
(ith and June 27th instead of June 7th and June 2Sth for Port
Allen, and Waimea, omitting Nawiliwili on" the outward trip,
hut returning as usual on her first trip, sailing from Waimea
at :i P. if. and from Nawiliwili P. M. on Friday, June 10th, and
on her last trip, sailing from Waimea at P. M. and from Na
wiliwili P. M. on Thursday, June :i()th, arriving !it Honolulu on
June ltth and July 1st respectively.
The above vessel will receive freight for Niihau and Mnka
weli on Monday, June (itli and June 27th. These are the only
dates on which freight will be received for Makaweli.
