In discussing the problems of boys
who are rounded up before him by
probation officers for the various of
fenses for which boys are picked up.
Judge Achi said that there is not suf
ficient community interest manifest

School, to take their place among
their fellow men as workers.
"The boy3 at the industrial school
receive training in trades and they

machine shops and other industrial
establishments," said the Judge.
"There are certain organizations
which give fid in this work, but
there should be harmonious co-oper-f'tion
among all organizations that

"The boys at the industrial school

don't know exactly know how to ask
for a Job. That's where the men of
cur welfare organizations come in.
"Boys go wrong very often be

let boys grow up like topsies. They
exercise no control over them what
ever. Some times the parents are
too busy providing the meals and
clothes for their offspring, but too
often it is wanton neglect on the
part of parents that causes boys to
wander aw.iy from the right path.
There is good reason for the pass
im ot laws requiring more respon
