M nURDE IN MtISOtRI.-The St. Louis Republican publishes the following letter : COrao, March 4,1850.-A shooting affair occurred at New Madrid yesterday between two men named Chriawell and Moore, which resulted in the death or the lattlr. CObriswell had married the mother of Moore's wife, and there had been unfriendly feelings between the two for some time, on account of the distribution of some family property. Yesterday, Moore went to Chriswell's house, and was ordered out by Chrlwell. He reused to go out of the house, smying that he would leave when he chose to. Chriswell threatened to put him out, which Moore dared him to do. Chriswell took hold of him to pot him ont, when he drew a pistol and shot Ohriswell through the arm. The latter thenidrew a pistol and shot Moore, killing him instantly. Chris well is described as a desperate character. PasrsTctltN.--Mr. J. G. The late Dr. Chapman of Philadelpb. has laid It down s rule, that "worms may be uspected In a child where there is emualaion, and e.pecan weakness of the bowels, accompan ied by a discharge of slime and mus," and all medical author. ities agree that to work a thorough care, the stomach and bowles must be invigorated as well a the worms themselves dis charged. Winer's Canadian Vaifuge fulfls both the econ. ditions. It not only extirpates the vermicules. but strengthens the digestion, Increases the solvent power of the gastric Juice, and Impart ahealthy action to the bowels. Hence its cures me complete and permanent. THE IDEA OF THE LIVING BODY Being the receptacle of greedy worms, is sickening ; and yet six ontof every ten children are more or less alicted with them. Why should this be the case when there are volumes of testimony to prove that a few doses of Winer's Cauadian Ver mifuge will eradicate the disease? Parents make a note of thls established fact, and remember that the medicine is free from all deleterious substances. PAINLESS IN ITS OPERATION, Certain in its results; free from all mineral substances, and asvigorating to the system:; these are the merits of WINER'S CANADIAN VERMIFUGE, a preparation which eradicates every class of internal worms, with a degree ef dispatch that is as agreeable as it is astonishing.
