Having carefully considered the work done, its
recessity u to rainsmg the intersectians to correes
pond with the new culverts, et ".. etc.. as well as
the work done at Canal and Treme streets, have
come to the conclusion that a fair compensatios
for the whole of said work and materials won d

Canal street $5913 32, instead of $7274 ,5, as
charged And paid for.
In reference to the work on Epltanade street.
on measuring one square, with intersections, and
comparing same with returns made by late city
surveyor, find quite a large disc e,aney between
the two measurements, and would recommend a
