It seems, however, from tho rush of autumn weddings, that the prospective brides and grooms kept their own counsel very faithfully, for there was never before such a harvest of bridal couples. In the First Presbyterian Church, on Tuesdav eveulnir, Miss Louise Grlesbauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Grlesbauer, and Mr. Harry Bradford "Wllsou were united In matrimony by Rev. Dr. Sunderland. The church was filled with the friends of the young couple. Tho ushers were Dr. Lee Wlltberger, Dr. Huch Clinc, Mr. W. II. E. Reinecke, and Mr. M. B. Domcr. The bride wore a demi-tralued robe of rich white silk, trimmed with point lace. Her tulle veil was held in place by sprays of orange blossoms. She held a bunch of white chrysanthemums. Her si6ter, Miss Annie M. Grlesbauer, who was inaid ot honor, wore an exceedingly pretty gown of pink surah, trimmed with lace, and carried a bouquet of pink chrysanthemums, tied with pink ribbons. Mr. Ross P. Andrews attended the groom as best man. A handsome reception was held after tho ceremony at the residence of the bride's parents, 435 Ninth street. Her bridal toilet was ideally perfect. The gown was of richest corded silk, with garniture of silver embroidery and duchesse lace. The tulle- veil, which entirely enveloped her, wa6 fastened with a wreatu of white roses. The bridal bouquet was also composed of white roses. President and Mrs. Harrison, with the immediate families of the bride aud croorn, witnessed tho cere mony. Immediately after tho reception com menced. A superb supper was served, Presi dent Harrison escorting the bride to the dining room, the groom going with Mrs. Harrison. The pretty custom of the bride throwing her bouquet among the girls wa6 observed. Miss Carrie Parker caught the bunch of roses. At 9:30 Mr. and Mrs. Haywood left on their wed ding journey. The hall at Takoma Park was tho scene ot a b-illiant masquerade party Wednesday evening, giveu by the Montgomery Club to its friends. Quite a number of Washinctonians drove out in a tally-ho. About S:30 o'clock the carriages be gan to arrive, and at 9:30 the hall was filled with masqueradcrs in all varieties of unique and striking costumes. Mrs. Ferree, the president of the Relief Corps, received the visiting gentlemen in a gracefully-delivered ad dress, which was responded to in gallant terms by Gen. Vesey and other gentlemen of his staff, nud also by Col. Urell and his men.
