London, March 22. The condi
tion of Queen Victoria's limb, which
was injured hy her fnll Saturday
lust, continues quite satisfactory.
Her Majesty keeps Iter room, in
accordance with the advice of her
physicians not to move about, and
, the swelliug in the knee is subsiding,
niul it is hoped by the physicians in
attendance that it will disappear
entirely in few days. There has at
no time been any ground for the
excitemcut over the matter, which
seems to have been created in New
York, and which lias not prevailed

comment in London.
New York, March 26. The
steamer from Panama, with dates of

strongly pronounced against the
Dictator, who declared that he will
hold out all hazards, even if the
destruction of the town should
follow.

nobles and the Jews. A deputation
of nobles has gone to St. Petersburg
to ;isk Count Tolster, Minister of the
Interior, to provide for the protec
