ven that from and after MAY 1st, money
orders will bo Issued at, nnd cun be
drawn on, either of the following named
post offices:

Lahninn Maul

Honokaa "
Waimea "
Kcalnkekua "
Lihuc Kauai
Koloa ( "
At any of the above Money Order Post
Offices, an order will be issued, on ap
plication,! for, any sum irom one cent to
tifty dollars. Tho following are the fees
established, which are payable by the
applicant at the time the order is issued :
For any sum not exceeding
Five Dollars Scents
Over Ave dollars, and not ex
ceeding $10 10 cents
Over ton' dollars, and not ex
ceeding $25 15 cents
Over twenty-five dollars, not
exceeding $40 20 cents
Over forty dollars, not ex
ceeding $50 25 cents
No order will be issued for more than
fifty dollars. , When a larger sum Is
wanted it must be procured in two or
more orders.
An order cannot bo Issued nn any post
office exe'ept'one of the above-named mo
nkey order offices, until notice has been
gh'en that, It has ,been mode a money
orde " office.
An o'eder is payable on presentation,
only nt'tV office drvm on, and the per
son to whe it is paid must receipt for

At tho country, money-order offices,
certain days, and hours of the day, will
be dcsicnated by tho Postmasters when
money orders will bo issued.
No money -order business transacted on
Sunday. (
Pamphlets, containing more full de
tails of tho money-order system, can be
had on application at any of the post
offices. Foreign Money Orders cannot be is
sued until money order treaties have
.been made with such countries as it may
bu desirable to extend tho system to.
