of proper accommodation being provid

not know that tho premises recently
occupied by W. E. Herrick, at No. HO
Fort Street, opposite the Pantheon Sta
bles, is now known as the '
" City Shoeing Shop."
This new Establishment, will bo a
source of gratification to our community,
inasmuch as cruel and torturous shooing
has heretofore been to largely practiced
on man's noblest animal by so called
Edward Doyle, tho -well known ex
perienced and skilful Horso Shoor, is
manager of this shop, which is a recom
mendation in itself, and with the practi
cal assistance of Andrew Brown, the
doorman, our citizens may fully rely on
their merits asjnaster mechanics.
It' would well repay our citizens to
visit and examine Soaking Stalls and
Foot Tuts arranged and built expressly
for operating on wounded and disabled
horses, which no other shop in this
Kingdom has adopted.
