Freeman went to the Police Com t,
and bwore out a warrant for Quirk's
arrest on a charge of assault with a

wife and four of his children, the

San Francisco. They came down
on the Almy, and it is said that on
the voyage down, Freeman was
intimate with Mrs. Quirk. On Sun
