The Patent Spring Horse Shoo docs
Recommended by tho California Socloty ol
Provenflon of Cruelty to Animals.
This shoo is the invention of an old
horseman of 40 years expcilcncc, and is
manufactured in Now York City from
steel prepared expressly for this pur
pose, and carefully tempered to retain
the elasticity of the spring as long as
in use. As the name Implies the gene
ral principal, is to act as an assistant,
where elasticity is natural in tho foot.
The toes of these shoes being made
heavier than those of the common kind,
ace as a toe weight, giving .a horse a
greater length of stride nnd naturally
increasing his speed. For working, or
driving, horses used on hard or stony
roads and troubled with pimeness or
sore shoulders, these shoes arc an in
fallible cure, while for soundhorses that
may become liable to the same com
plaint they are a certain preventative.
They are a protection to corns on horses
feet as they relieve the part on which
the corns arc produced.
