The German baiklolani, CaptGallels,
arrived yesterday with 1,125 tons of
coal to the P. M. S. S. Co. She left
Liverpool July 29. She was 39 days to
the line, 74 days to Cape Horn, where
she was detained three weeks by bad
weather, loslug her foresail and jib.
Her bulkwards and railings were stove
in on the starboard side. She was 30
days from 50 S. Lit. In the Atlantic to
50 S. Lat. In the Pacific, spoke an En
glish bark in distiess, having broken her
rudder, and unnbled to steer, but
wanted no assistance from 50 S, Lat. to
the line slit, is 32 days, making a total of
140 days from Liverpool to Honolulu.
