At the performance on Wednesday
evening, considerable annoyance wa
caused, to ladles and gentlemen seated
near the entrance to the Music Hall, by
the persistent talking of several gentle

The canvass of Honolulu for the new
Hawaiian Diiectory has just been com
pleted, and the work on the other
islands of the Kingdom will at once be
proceeded with. Notification of changes,
in Honolulu, of firms, icsideuces and
places, and corrections will be received
by the agent, Mr. Bagot, at the corner of
Alakea and Hotel streets, up to the timcof
going to press. Mr. Frank Du Ti eo w ill
make a tour of this island and Kauai, in
the interests of the directory, and tlic
courtesy of residents is solicited in giv
ing him the fullest information.
