Tin: plans of the new Government
offices can now be seen at the In
terior Department. The building
will be of brick and two stories high.
On the ground floor aic offices for
the Tax Collector and Assessor, the
Superintendent of Water Works, the
Uoad Supervisor and a room for
surveyor's implements. On 'the
second tloor it is proposed to have a
map loom, a draughting room, and
offices for a Civil Engineer and Su
perintendent of Public Works. The
rooms arc almost all 20 feet by 2G
feet, well lighted and ventilated.
Tenders for the erection of the build
ing will be received till Wednesday,
the lfith March, so says the official
