winning easily. The papers state
Ilanlan won by half a length, but a
gentleman on board the Zealandia
informed us, lie won by three lengths
in the hollowcst. fashion. Fully
twenty-five thousand people wit
nessed the race. The amount of the
stakes was $5,000.
