IS THIS DISEASE THAT IS
COMING UPON US?
Like n llilcf at night tt steals in upon
us unavnrc9. Many persons have pains
about the chest and sides, and sometimes
In the hack. They feel dull and sleepy;
the month has a bail tnsie, especially in
hi tho morning. A sort of sticky sfiine
collects about the teeth. The appetite Is
poor. Tliero is a feeling like a heavy
load on the stomach ; sometimes a faint
all-gone sensation at thu pit of the
stomach which food docs not satisfy.
The eyes aro sunken, the hands and feet
become cold and feel clninmy. After a
while a cough sets in at llrst dry, but
after u few mouths It is attended with a
greenish coloured expectoration. The
allllcted one feels tired all the while, and
sleep does not seem to afford any rest.
After u time lie becomes nervous, 'irrita
ble, and gloomy, and has evil fore,
boilings. There is a giddiness, u soi t of
whirling sensation In tho head when
rising up suddenly. The bowels become
costive; tho skin Is dry und hot at times;
the blood becomes ttiicK aim stagnant;
the whites of the eyes become tinged
with yellow, tho urine Is scanty and high
coloured, depositing a sediment after
standing. Tlicio is Jrcquently a spitting
up of the food, sometimes with a tour
taste, and sometimes wiih a sweetish
taste; this is frequently attended with
palpitation of the heart; the vision
becomes impaired with spots before the
eyes; there is a, feeling of great prostra
tion and weakness. All of these symp
toms arc in turn present. It is thought
that nearly one-third of our population
, has this disease in some of Its varied
forms. It has been found that medical
men have mistaken tho nature of this
disease. Some have treated it for a liver
complaint, others for kidney disease, etc.,
but nono of tho various kinds of trcat-
ment havo been attended with success,
becauso tho remedy should bo such as to
act harmoniously upon each one of these
oigans, and upon tho stomach as well;
for In Dyspepsia (for this is really what
the disease Is) all of these organs partake
of this disease and require a remedy
that will act upon all at the same time.
Seigel's Curative Syrup acts like a charm
in tills class of complaints, giving almost
lmmcdiatcd relief. Thu following letters
from chemists of standing in tho com
munity whole they livo show in what
estimation the articlo is held.
John Archer, Ilarthill, near Slicflleld:
I can confidently lecommcnd it to all

Geo. A. Webb, 141, York Street,
Belfast: I h.ivo sold a largo quantity,
and tho parties have testified to its being
what you lepresentit.

Filockhcim, Arbroath, Forfarshire,
Sept. 2U, 1882. Dear Sir, Last year I
- sent vou a letter leunmmcndlntr Mother
Seigel's Syrup. I havo very much
pleasure In still bearing testimony to the
very satisfactory results of the famed
Syrup nnd Pills. Mostpatcnt medicines
die out with me, but Motlier Seigel has
had a steady sale ever sinco I com
menced, and is still In as great demand
as when I llrst began to sell the medi
cine. Tho cures w hlch have como under
my notice nro chiefly those of liver
complaint and general debility.
A certain minister In my neighbour
hood bays It is tho only tiling wMcli has
benefited him and restored him to his
normal condition of health after being
unablo to preach for a considerable
length of time. I could mention alto a
great mnuy other cases, hut si ace would
not allow. A near friend of mine, who
Is very much addicted to costiveness, or
constipation, finds that Mother Seigel's
Pills arc tho only pills which suit his.
complaint. All other pills cause a
reaction which Is very annoying.
Mother Seigel's Pills do not leave a bad
nftcr-cfli'ct. I havo much pleasure in
commending again to suffering human
ity Mother Seigel's medicines, which
aro no sham. If this letter is of any
servico you can publish it.
Yours very truly.
