IS THIS DISEASE THAT IS
COMING UPON US?
I.lUc n tliluf at night it steals In upon
us unawares. Jinny persons have pains
about the rhesl and sides, ami sometimes
in the back. Thcv feel thill anil sleepy;
the mouth has a bad taste, especially in
In the moruiu. A sort of sticky slime
collects about the teeth. Theappctile is
poor. Tiierc is a feeling like a heavy
load on the stomach; sometime.? a faint
all-gone sensation at tilts pit of tho
stomach which food does not satisfy.
The c es arc sunken, the hands and feot
become cold ana feel clammy. After a
while a cough sets in at first thy, but
after a few months) It is attended with a
greenish coloured expectoration. The
allllctcd ono feclslircd all tho while, and
sleep does not seem to all'ord any test.
After a time lie becomes nervous, in lia
ble, and gloomy, and lias evil fore,
boilings. There is a giddiness, :i soil of
whirling sensation in the head when
vising up suddenly. The bowels become
costlvu; tho skin is dry ami hot at times;
the blood becomes thick and stagnant;
the whites of the eyes become tinged
with yellow, the urine is scanty and high
rolonrcd, depositing a sediment after
standing. There is lrcqucntly a spitting
up of the food, sometimes with n sour
taste, and sometimes with a sweetish
taste; tills Is frequently attended with
palpitation of the heart; the vision
becomes impaired with spots befoie the
eyej; there is a feeling ot great prostra
tion and weakness. All of these synip
toms are In turn present. It is thought
Unit nearly one-third of our population
has this disease in sonio of Its varied
forms. It has been found that medical
men havo mistaken the niturc of this
disease. Some have treated it for a liver
complaint, others for kidney disease, etc.,
but none of the various kinds of treat
ment have been attended with success,
because the remedy should bo such as to
act harmoniously upon each one of these
oigans, and upon the stomach as well;
for In Dyspepsia (for this is really what
the disease is) all of these organs partake
of this disease and rcquiic a icmcdy
that will act upon all at the same time.
Seigcl's Curative Syrup acts liken charm
In tills class of complaints, giving almost
hnmedlaled relief. Tho following letters
from chemists of standing in the com

estimation the article is held.

Frlockhelm, Arbroath, Forfarshire,
Sept. 23, 1882. Dear Sir, Last year I
scnt,you a letter lccommcmlins Mother
Soigel's Syrup. I have very much
pleasure In still bearing testimony to the
very satisfactory results of tho fumed
Syrup and Pills. Mostpatcnt medicines
die out with me, but Mother Scigel has
had a steady sale ever sluco I com
ineiiced, and is still In as great demand
as when I llrst hogan to sell the incdi
cine. The cures which have como under
my notice are chletly those ot liver
complaint and general debility.
A certain minister in my neighbour
hood says It Is the only thing which has
benefited him and restored him to his
normal condition of health after being
unable to preach for u considerable
length of time. I could mention also a
irreat manv other cases, but snaco would
not allow. A near friend of mine, who
is very much addicted to costiveness, or
constipation, llnds that Mother Seigcl's
Pills are the only pills which suit his
complaint. All other pills caiiso a
reaction which is very annoying.
Mother Seigcl's Pills do not leave a bad

commending again to Buffering human

are no sham. If this letter Is of any
set vice you can publish it.
Yours very truly.
