IS THIS DISEASE THAT
COMING UPON US?
Like n thief tit nitwit it steals hi tipou
us utinwnics. Many persons have pains
about the chest and sides, nnd sometimes
In tho b;iu!c. They ficl dull ami sleepy;
tho mouth hns a bad taste, especially In
hi the morning. A sort of sticky slime
collects about the teeth. The appetite Is
poor. There Is it feeling like n heavy
io.nl on tho stomach; sometimes a f ain't
all-gone sensation at the pit of the
stomach which food does not satisfy.
The eyes aie sunken, the hands and fe.it
become cold and feel clammy. After n
while a ciiigh sets In at first diy, but
after a few mouths it is attended with a
greenish colotucd expectoration. Tho
allllctcd one feels tired all the while, and
sleep does not seem to afford any rest.
After a lime lie becomes ncrwm, irrita
ble, and gloomy, and baa evil fore
bodings. There Is a giddiness, a soil of
whirling sensation in tho head when
rising up suddenly. The bowels become
costive; the skin is dry and hot at times;
the blood becomes thick and stagnant;
the whites of tho eyes become tinged
with yellow, tho urine is scanty and high
coloured, depositing a sediment after
standing. There is frequently a spitting
up of the food, sometimes with a sour
tahtc, and sometimes with a sweetish
taste; this is frequently attended with
pilpltation of the heart; tho vision
becomes Impaired with snots before the
eye?; there is a feeling of great prostin
tion and weakness. All of theso symp
turns aie In turn present. It is thought
that nearly one-third of our population
hU3 this 'disease in some of Its varied
forms. It his been found that medical
men have mistaken the nature of this
disease. Some have treated It fora liver
complaint, others for kidney disease, etc.,
but none of the various kinds of treat
ment have been attended with success,
because the lcnicdy should bo such as to
act harmoniously upon each one of theso
oigans, and upon tho stomach as well;
for In Dyspepsia (for tills Is really what
the disease is) all of these organs partake
of this disease and require a remedy
that will net upon all at the same time.
Seigel's Curative Syrup acts like a charm
in tub class of complaints, giving alino3t
immediated relief. Thefollowlnglcttcrs
from chemists of standing in the com
munity where they live show in what
estimation tho article is held.
