IS THIS DISEASE THAT IS
COMING UPON US?
Like u tlilef at night it steals in upon
in unawares. M'iny persons hnvo pains
about the chest and titles, and .sometimes
in the back. Thev feel dull and sleepy;
the inoulli lias a ti-id taste, especially in
in tho morning. A sort of sticky slline
collects about the teeth. Thonppctilo Is
poor, Theic Is u feeling like a heavy
to id on the stomach; sometimes a Taint
all.gonc sensation ill the pit of (ho
stomach which food does not hitisfy.
The eyes are sunken, the bauds and fe.t
become cold ami feel dummy. After it
while a cough sets In at Hist dry, but
after a few months It Is attended wlih a
greenish coloured expectoration. The
atllicted one feels tired all the while, and
Bleep does not seem to afford any ten.
After a time lie becomes nervous, Irrita
ble, and gloomy, and has evil fore,
bodings. Thcro'ls it giddiness, asoit of
whirling sensation in tho head when
rising up suddenly. The bow els bceome
costive; the skin is dry and hot at times;
the blood becomes thick and stagnant;
the whites of tho eyes become tingul
with yellow, tho urlno is scanty and high
rolourcU, depositing a sediment after
standing. There is frequently a spitting
up of the food, sometimes with a sour
taste, and sometimes with u sweetish
tnste; this is frequently attended with
nalnltatlon of tho heart; the vision
becomes Impaired with spots before the
eyes; there is a feeling of great prostia
tioti and weakness. All of these symp
toms are in tutu present. It is thought
that nearly one-third of our population
lias this disease In some of Its aricil
forms. It h is been found lint medical
men have mistaken the untitle of tills
disease. Sumo have treated Itfora liver
complaint, others for kidney disease, etc.,
but none of the various kinds of treat
ment have been attended with success,
because the remedy should be such ns to
act harmoniously upon each one of these
oigans, and upon the stomach nswell;
for in Dyspepsia (for tills is really what
the disease is) all of those organs partako
of this disease and require a remedy
that will net upon all at the same lime.
Seigel's Curative Syrup acts like a chai m
in this class of complaints, giving almost
immedlated relief. Thefollowlngletters
from chemists of standing in the com.
munity wlicic they live show in what
estimation tho article is held.
