IS THIS DISEASE THAT
COMING UPON US?
Like :i thief nt night It steals In upon
us unawares. Many petrous hau pilns
nbout tho ehiMl nudfddes. and sometimes
in tlie h'ick. They feel (lull nnd sleepy;
the mouth lias i bail tustc, especially in
in the morning. A sou of sticky slime
collects nboul thoteelh. Theapiietlte Is
poor. Tiierc is u lceiing UNo u Heavy
io ul on tho htomncli: oinctlme :i faint
nil-cone cns.itlon nt tho pit of tho
st imacli which food does not satisfy.
Tnu eyes are sunken, the hands and feot
l)"C')ine cold and feel dummy. After a
while n cough seta in at first dry, hut
after a few months it is attended with n
greenish oloured expectoration. Tlie
ntliictcd.oiic feels tired all the while, and
sleep does not seem to allord any let.
After a time lie becomes nervous, irrita
ble, and gloomy, ami h.it evil fore,
bo.lings. There is a glddinc-s, u soi t of
wiili ling sensation in tho head when
rising up suddenly. Tlie bowels become
costive; the skin Is dry and hot nt times;
tin) uiood i02omc3 tlilctt ami stagnant.;
tho whites of tho eyes become tinged
with yellow, tho iirlno is scanty and high
coloured, depositing n sediment after
standing. There Is frequently a spitting
up of the food, sometimes with a sour
taste, mid sometimes with n sweetish
taste; this is frequently attended with
pilpitation of tho heart; the vision
becomes Impaired wltii spots boforo the
eyci; there is n feeling ot gicat piostra
tfon and weakness. All ot these symii
toins are In tuin present. It is thought
tint nearly one-third of our population
has this 'disease in homo of its aricd
forms. It Ins been found tint medical
men have mistaken tho niturc of this
disease. .Some have treated it for a liver
complaint, others for kidney disease, etc.,
but none of tho various kinds of treat
meat have been attended with success,
because the remedy should be such as to
act harmoniously upou each one of thuc
oigans, and upon tho stomach as well;
for in Dyspepsia (for tills is really whnt
the disc iso is) nil of llieo organs partake
of this disease and requlro a remedy
that will act upon nil at the same lime.
Seigcl's Curative Syiup nets like achaim
in tills class of complaints, giving almost
immediatcd relief. The following letters
from chemists of standing in the com
niunity where they live show in what
estimation the article is held.
John Archer, Iluthlll, near Sheffield:
I can confidently recommend it to all

Sept. 2J, 1882. Dear Sir, Last year I
- sent you n letter lccommeiidlng Mother
Sjlgol's Syrup. 1 havo eiy much
pleasure in still bearing testimony to the
very satisfactory results of tho famed
Syrup and Pills. Most patent medicines
dio out with me, but Mother Sclgul has
had a steady sulo ever since 1 com
muncod, and is still In as great demand
as when I first began to sell the medi

my notico are chletly those of liver

great many other cases, but space would
not allow. A near friend ot mine, who
is very much addicted to costiveness, or
constipation, finds that Mother Seigcl's

complaint. All other pills cause n
