IS THIS DISEASE THAT IS
COMING UPON US?
Like a thief nt night it steals In upon
us unnwiucs. Many pertons have pains
about the chest and Aides. and Bometlincs
In the back. Thev feel dull and sleepy;
the mouth hnsn bad taste, especially In
in the morning. A sort of sticky slime
collects about the teeth. The appetite Is
poor. There Is a feeling like a heavy
loud on the stomach; sometimes a faint
all-gone sensation at the pit of the
stomach which food docs not satisfy.
Tho eyes ate sunken, the hands and feot
become cold tint! feel clnminy. After a
while a rough sets in at flist dry, but
after a few months it is attended with u
greenish coloured expectoration. The
atllicted one feels tired all the while, and
sleep does not seem to nll'ord any test.
After a time he becomes nervous, irrita
ble, and gloomy, and has evil fore,
bodings. There is a giddiness, a suit of
whirling sensation in the head wiicn
rising up suddenly,
costive; tho skin is i
The bowels become
i drv and hot at times;
the blood becomes thick and stagnant;
the whites of tho eyes become tinged
w Ith yellow, tho urine is scanty and high
coloured, depositing a sediment after
standing. There is frequently a spitting
up of the food, sometimes with n eour
taste, and sometimes with a sweetish
taste; this is frequently attended with
palpitation of tho heart; the vision
becomes impaired with spots before tho
eyes; thcro Is a feeling or great prostra
tion and weakness. All of theso Bymp
toms aro In turn present. It Is thought
that nearly one-third of our population
has this disease In some of its varied
forms. It has been found that medical
men have mistaken tho nature of this
disease. Some have treated it fora liver
complaint, others for kidney disease, etc.,
but none of the various kinds of treat
ment have been attended with success,
because the remedy should bo such as to
act harmoniously upon each one of these
oigans, tiiul upon the stomach as well;
for in Dyspepsia (for this is really what
the disease Is) all of these organs partake
of this disease and require a remedy
that will act upon all at tho same time.
Selgcl's Curative Syrup acts like aeharm
in this class of complaints, giving almost
Immcdiatcd relief. ThcfolTowinglcttcrs

Frlockhcim, Arbroath, Forfarshire,
Sept. 23, 1882. Dear Sir, Last year I
sent you a letter recommending Mother
Seigcl's Syrup. I have cry much
pleasure in still bearing testimony to the
very satisfactory results of the famed
Syrup and Pills. Most patent medicines
die out with mo, but Mother Sclgel has
had a steady salo ever sinco I com
menced, and Is still lu as great demand
as when I first began to sell the mcdl
clue. Tho cuics w lilch have come under
my notice aro chiefly those of liver
complaint ami general debility.
A certain minister In my neighbour,
hood says it Is tho only thing wilch has
benefited him and restored him to Ids
normal condition of health after being
unablo to preach for a considerable
length of time. 1 could mention also a
great many other cases, but spaco would
not allow. A near friend of mine, who
is very much addicted to costlvcncss, or
constipation, finds that Mother Seigcl's
Pills aro tho only pills which suit his
complaint. All other pills cause a
reaction which Is very annoying.
MJithor Seigcl's Pills do not leave a bad
nrtcr-eU'ect. I havo much pleasure In
commending again to suffering human,
ity Mother Solgel's medicines, which
aio no sham. If this letter Is of any
service you can publish it.
Yours very truly.

declares Mother Solgel's Syi up which he
got from mo has saved his life.
